The Belt Plan

My client’s brother has lost quite a bit of weight by doing one simple thing;tightening his belt. 

When you come home from a long day of work, what is the first thing you do? If you said “change into comfy clothes,” you may have just uncovered one reason you are overeating in the evening.

When you where loose, comfy clothing, you are apt to subconsciously feel thinner and throw some of your good daytime eating habits out the window. By wearing a belt when he came home from work, he was able to keep the same mentality he had going all day and has successfully lost over 60lbs.

Something as simple as wearing clothing that is form fitting or wearing a belt may keep you in check when you are at the end of a stressful day and having a hard time ignoring that evil voice in your head chanting “Eat cookies. The cookies will love you and would never ask you to work late.”

    Jana, this is a fantastic tip! Your client’s brother is a wise individual for heeding that advice.

    I am a huge advocate of “comfy clothes,” so I ALWAYS change out of them immediately when I get home from a meeting or event. I will make it a point to be cognizant of this, especially when I am working from home.
