Do you really have NO TIME to exercise?

The #1 excuse why people do not exercise: NO TIME. Well it seems a bit odd to me given the modern conveniences that surround us in this day and age.Look around you. You are surrounded by buttons and gadgets that are supposed to make your life easier. You push a button and your garage door opens. You push a button and your car door unlocks. You push a button and few minutes later you’ve got steamed veggies. You push a button and you’ve got clean dishes. You push a button and you’ve got clean clothes. You push a button and your oven cleans itself. You get the idea. 

Today products are designed to simplify our lives; to make things easier with instant gratification. How is it then that we have less time to exercise than a few generations before us who had to actually cook, wash, etc.?

My theory is that all of these gadgets that are meant to simplify our lives have lead us to an overload. Since we have these time savers, we are expected to be able to do more in less time. I also blame cell phones. We are now expected to be available at every moment of the day which ends up adding even more”stuff” to your plate.

But NO EXCUSES. You have got to put these buttons that make your life easier to good use. Push the one that turns off your cell phone. Be unavailable for 20 minutes each day. You can find 20 minutes. Get moving!
