Try to set your mind this holiday season to weight control rather than weight loss. I’ve been telling clients that it is most important to recognize that you are in control of your body and the choices you make regarding it. Focusing on weight loss doesn’t provide a strong, clear goal. If you can focus on an active goal like controlling your weight I believe success in your weight loss endeavors will follow.
Being aware of portions and mindful eating is a great way to be in control.
