Disguise Your Exercise

Exercise doesn’t have to be a total drag. Today here in CT, the sun set at 4:20pm. Ew. That just stinks. It is difficult to stay motivated when it is dark and cold outside.

If you’ve convinced yourself that you cannot get to the gym or even to your workout space in your home, well there are other ways to keep moving.

One of the best ways to get moving is to be in charge of walking the dog. Get one of those LL BEAN Mad Bomber hats, bundle up and go.

Snow shoeing is very challenging and can be lots of fun. Skiing is a big deal here in New England – you can’t just sit indoors by the fire sipping cocoa. You actually have to ski.

You can build a snowman with your kids. Golf with a friend. Or get your pals together and meet at the gym rather than for eggnog and fruitcake.

Every weekend there is some sort of run/walk event for a cause. Move your buns while spreading some real joy.

Use your imagination. There are tons of possibilities.
